A true hidden gem !!! Two friends invited me to lunch for the Sunday Filipino special dishes. I had the lechon and we shared the cheesecakes. I am Vietnamese and was very pleased by how tasty and flavorful the Filipino food was prepared. Not too salty and not too sweet. The lechon was so crunchy and delicious . The owner was very pleasant and cordial to us and all the guests around. He brought us extra samples and told us stories about his amazing adventures as a chef from when he traveled the world to learn about his craft. "Food without borders" is his concept. Come try this amazing place and support your local business. I will have to come back for more yummy Filipino food and try their breakfast and coffee . Thank you Reggie for your hospitality and passion in food.

Cute place, great food, & excellent service. They have a dog friendly patio so we'll definitely be back. They do a Phillopino breakfast menu on Sundays and it was really good! Try the desert, can't remember the name but there are little ice cream cookie things that melt in your mouth!

Great place for breakfast. Coffee, espresso, and breakfast scramble were all fresh and made to order. Staff were super friendly and attentive.

This hidden cafe is a true gem. An American cafe with Euro Asian influence. The food is incredible, it’s like fine dining restaurant quality of food with a tiny cafe feel and pricing. This is one of those restaurants that you have to love. Mom and pops shop but outstanding food and even better people! The first ever SYLVANA I’ve experienced and wow it was life changing. It’s now a necessity! The chicken a la pobre was magical and the scotch eggs… I can’t even explain it was so good.

August 2024 update: They Filipino brunch on Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm "might" get expanded into Saturdays. The food continues to get better and better. Love the quality.Newer Update: I keep trying more and more items. You can never go wrong. Quality for a reasonable price is unheard of in this area. They absolutely deliver the best food for the money bar none. Breakfast is great. Pastries are what you expect in a high end French pastry shop. Fridays and Saturdays they do dinners that you would expect from a super high end restaurant for special occasions. I would happily pay double for this quality! The care and importance of their food is the best you get anywhere.Update: After going here a lot, nothing has changed. Very consistent quality of product. Excellent quiche and pastry items. Definitely try the Salvanas (sic?)Owners are awesome. Dinner now on Friday & Saturday nights.Great little diner type location. Their Pastries are excellent. All around a foodie type of place.

This was such an unexpected surprise. We took our dog to the groomer next door and decided to eat here. The service was phenomenal, Reggie and his wife took such great care of us. The food was sooooo good. Best bedidict I have had and I substituted the ham for turkey bacon. We tried the Ube brownie and the Silvanias which are both seasonal items. The taste was sensational. We will definitely be coming back to try dinner here!!!!

Love, love it! The food was superb and the owners were very nice.. looking forward to coming back and bringing more friends. Came all the way from west side and it was worth the drive. Coming back for more desert goodies! Mango cheesecake was yummy! Sylvania yummy! Chicken Ala Pobre, yummy and the steak was cooked perfect as desired!

Truly a hidden gem in South Scottsdale! Whenever we travel we like to check out family owned businesses. This one didn’t disappoint! The food was fresh, house made and delicious and the pancakes were gigantic!! Our server was friendly and had a very subtle but funny sense of humor. We will definitely be back!
